For over a decade, winemakers & owners, Amy & Kyle Johnson have been producing amazing Washington Wines! We cannot wait to share with you their highly acclaimed Sauvignon Blanc, Rosè, Syrah & Cabernet Sauvignon! You may even find another surprise in there too!
About Purple Star Wines:
"In 2008 we set out to start a winery with a specific vision: to embody the soul of wine from vineyard to bottle to table. Our philosophy is that wine should be accessible, approachable, and affordable. But most of all, we believe a wine’s purpose is to bring together family and friends!
With 10 years of viticulture and winemaking experience in Washington State, we know a thing or two about making wine. For starters, Purple Star’s varietal blends are grown from some of Washington State’s finest appellations including Wahluke Slope, Yakima Valley and Red Mountain. With grapes handpicked at their optimal flavor profile and juice fermented at cooler temperatures for longer periods, our wines exhibit softer tannins and retain more varietal character.
Paying It Forward As a family we find ourselves blessed with good health. Our good fortune, however, comes with a realization that others are less fortunate. As a result we have chosen to donate 15% of Purple Star Wines’ proceeds to Seattle Children’s Hospital to benefit uncompensated care—a gesture we hope will lighten the financial burden of families overwhelmed by the expenses associated with critical medical care. It’s our way of “paying it forward.”

Onboard the Bay Lady, you'll meet Captain Noah who is enthusiastic about sharing with all of us his passion for sailing! You can choose to participate in helping raise her sails, or sit back and relax while watching the show!
About the Schooner Bay Lady:
"Boasting an impressive 85 foot length, we are the most comfortable sailing experience on Seattle’s beautiful waters. The Bay Lady was custom built for charter sailing in 1989, and therefore is outfitted with plenty of comfortable seating (even with backrests!), two onboard bathrooms, and a robust perimeter railing to keep everyone safe.
The love and attention of the craftspeople who built her resounds in her hull to this day. She features American Ash, Honduran Mohagony and Brazilian Rosewood all varnished to perfection. With a massive 87 foot mast, she is indeed a “tall ship”, and with her cloud of 2500 square feet of sail area she sails nicely in even a gentle breeze."
Your all inclusive ticket includes the wonderful wines of Purple Star Winery, with an amazing two hour sailing experience with picturesque views, along with a delicious catered lunch by a brother/sister chef DUO, JoAnn & Evan of the Old Ballard Catering Co! They have created a Greek inspired menu for us to enjoy! Please send us any dietary restrictions you may have so we can accommodate those accordingly! This event is limited to 65 lucky guests! Tickets are non refundable but transferable* between cruise dates with Washington Wine Cruises. Event takes place rain or shine, dress accordingly!
Depart Pier 66, BOARDING IS 12:45PM SHARP! Depart at 1:00pm and return at approximately 3:00pm!
